Lovely stay with cozy vibes

Just spent 2 nights here and it was super cozy! Eugene and Clare are seriously the best hosts, and the breakfast options were delicious. Loved having fresh milk in the room instead of the usual UHT. Only thing, room could’ve been a tad bigger for two people. great spot!

What a delightful getaway! The homemade cakes available throughout our stay were a real treat, especially the flapjack. Breakfast was simply divine with ample options, and the peaceful ambiance made for restful nights. I’d definitely return here.

The homemade pastries at breakfast were exceptional, and the hosts went out of their way to create a welcoming environment. parking can be a challenge, and the room felt slightly cramped for space during peak times. a delightful experience worth repeating.

The room was really spacious and comfortable. Super clean with a generous bed and a nice en suite bathroom. Loved the coffee machine and selection of teas. the little fridge was a nice touch. Everything just felt cozy and well thought out.

Just a nice choice for resting in Ambleside with good value for price. The homemade cake Clare gave us was a lovely touch. Make sure to try the plentiful cooked breakfast.

I really enjoyed the lovely welcome that made me feel right at home and the heating in my room was adjustable, which was super handy. with so many nearby attractions like Rothay Park just a short 10-minute stroll away and delicious dining options like Zeffirelli's only a 5-minute walk, I couldn't have asked for a better location to explore this beautiful town.

the cozy double room had a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee maker, and a mini fridge. loved the soft pillows and comfy bed. breakfast was super tasty, with homemade cake too! location was perfect, close to shops and pubs, all within a short walk. hosts were welcoming and made us feel at home.

Wifi could be improved for better connectivity.

Parking can be a hassle as it requires a short walk from the council lot while carrying luggage, but the hosts reimburse the fee, so it's manageable. Rooms can feel a bit cramped, especially if you're not careful around the eaves, and the breakfast ordering could be improved by allowing selections on the day instead of pre-ordering.
